Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Cottonwood, AZ | Inpatient / Short Term Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days | Sunday–Thursday, 5×8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | One weekend day required per week
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to inpatient populations within a short-term acute care setting
Manage patients requiring moderate to maximum assistance, including those on ventilators
Perform co-treatments and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Adapt quickly to shifting caseload demands, including picking up additional evaluations throughout the day
Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration protocols (BCMA)
Complete documentation and charting accurately using Cerner
Required Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Arizona — required and must be in hand prior to start
BLS certification through the American Heart Association — required
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
Ability to work one weekend day per week (department operates 7 days a week)
Comfort floating without restrictions, including to other units or affiliate facilities based on census and skill needs

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Generalist background with confidence treating a broad range of medical diagnoses
Experience working with ventilated patients and managing high-acuity caseloads
Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
Ability to pivot efficiently and manage a dynamic, fluctuating caseload
