Primary Care MD or NP
Location: Florida
Schedule: Ongoing per diem day shifts
Openings: 1
Position Overview
- Outpatient primary care and acute care for employees and family members.
- Focus on wellness and prevention, acute episodic care, and chronic condition management.
- May include occupational health and workers compensation related visits, including work related injury evaluation, return to work determinations, and DOT related services as applicable.
Clinical Scope
- Patients age 2 and older.
- Common services may include physicals, pre employment exams, drug and alcohol testing, suturing and laceration repair, splinting, and minor fracture care.
- Electronic medical record: Athena experience preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO: board certified or board eligible.
- NP or PA: nationally certified.
- Active Florida license.
- DEA required.
- Minimum two years of recent experience required.
- Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
