Nurse Practitioner – Hospitalist
Location: WV
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Position Overview
Provide inpatient hospital medicine advanced practice coverage in a critical access hospital setting, with physician tele-coverage available 24 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite NP/PA coverage for hospital medicine service, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Manage an average daily census of approximately 9 inpatient patients
- Collaborate with physician tele-coverage available 24 hours
- Document care using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner with certification as FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP; or licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Active West Virginia NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of hospital medicine experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
