Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of collections and specimen information.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience, with demonstrated proficiency in specimen collection.
  • Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, including pediatric and elderly patients.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid keyboard and data entry capabilities for accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Medical assistant or paramedic background.
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states such as California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service environments.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of professional phlebotomy experience preferred.

  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Required certifications in phlebotomy (where applicable by state law).
  • Ability to lift and position patients as needed and work at standing height for extended periods.
