Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients accurately and safely, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures and protocols
• Verify patient identity and maintain confidentiality while establishing a trusting environment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimen collection and processing activities
• Follow safety standards and maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence in daily tasks
• Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to staffing needs, including weekends and holidays
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members to ensure quality care and service

• Ability to perform error-free, high-quality phlebotomy in a fast-paced setting

• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over 1 year preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
• Candidate must have reliable transportation and live within a 20-25 minute commute to the worksite
• Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to consistent attendance
