Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality blood sample collection from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures
- Explain procedures to patients, ensuring a trustful and comfortable atmosphere
- Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in their presence
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections and patient information
- Perform specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and adherence to safety standards
- Create a professional environment that promotes a positive image to patients and colleagues

- Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
- Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced setting

- Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks
Additional Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
- 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Experience working in a patient service center environment is highly preferred
- Must have own reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, to cover multiple locations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations based on staffing needs
- Candidate’s home city should be within a 20-25 minute commute to the worksite
