Responsibilities
- Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of urine specimens
- Collect urine specimens from patients, following proper identification procedures
- Conduct observed and/or supervised specimen collections as required
- Label and document specimens accurately and prepare them for shipment
- Demonstrate customer service and compassion during patient interactions
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinic staff
- Follow Universal Precautions and OSHA standards when handling specimens
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Report low volume shifts, issues, or procedural deviations to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times
- Assist with office supply and order processing as needed

Additional Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in specimen collection or similar clinical roles preferred
- Must wear solid color medical scrubs and closed-toe shoes
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, 25 hours per week
- Reliable transportation to worksite in Portland, ME
- No specific licensure or certification required; training will be provided as needed
