Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples and other specimens from patients following established protocols
• Greet patients professionally, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident before specimen collection
• Assist with patient check-ins via kiosks or handheld devices, providing guidance and assistance as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information
• Ensure the safety and confidentiality of patient data and specimens at all times
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment within the clinical setting
• Support team members by covering breaks and assisting in other duties as directed by supervisors

Required Skills

• High level of customer service skills and the ability to handle patients with care and compassion
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build trust with patients
• Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry to accurately document specimen collection details
• Ability to perform phlebotomy duties confidently following established procedures
• Basic understanding of specimen processing and clinical practices

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, no exceptions
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience, such as retail or home health aide roles
• Previous phlebotomy experience required
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned work site; candidates within a 20-25 minute commute preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts, maintain punctuality, and stay for entire scheduled shifts
• Schedule availability must align with shift requirements without conflicts from school or other commitments
