Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) (Locum Tenens)

Position Overview
Emergency department APP coverage in a collaborative EM model. Providers should be comfortable managing a broad spectrum of acute presentations and working alongside physician coverage.
Clinical Scope
- Emergency department evaluation and management
- Acute care procedures consistent with scope and site capability
- Collaboration with physician and nursing teams
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Georgia NP license (and RN license) or active, unrestricted Georgia PA license
- National certification (AANP or ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA)
- DEA registered to Georgia address if required for prescribing in this role
- Current ACLS and PALS (ATLS or trauma equivalent may be required per site)
- Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify
Credentialing and Onboarding
- Credentialing may require recent case logs and CME documentation
- Credentialing timelines vary by site
