Emergency Medicine Physician (Locums)

Location: Indiana

Coverage: Community emergency department coverage across two locations in the same region

Position Overview

• Provide emergency department coverage across two sites with cross credentialing required.
• Manage a broad mix of emergency presentations appropriate for community hospital practice.
• Perform moderate sedation as needed.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain, if allowed by the client).
• DEA registered in Indiana.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding Items

• Credentialing and privileging timeframe may be extended. Clean files and complete documentation help expedite processing.
• Typical items may include immunizations, TB, case logs, malpractice history, and other facility required documents.
