Emergency MD

Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Location: Washington

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (day, swing, and night shifts available). Expected 10 or more shifts per month. Primarily night shifts; schedule flexibility preferred.

Practice Setting: Emergency Department (17 beds) | Level III Trauma Center

Annual Volume: Approximately 24,000 ED visits

EMR: Epic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency medical care across a high-acuity patient mix
  • Perform and document conscious sedation as required

Requirements:

  • Emergency Medicine residency trained
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
  • Active, unrestricted Washington medical license (must be in hand)
  • DEA
  • ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Recent Emergency Medicine experience with no extended practice gaps
  • Ability to provide complete encounter logs as part of credentialing

Credentialing: Temporary privileges may be available; standard credentialing is typically 2 to 3 months.

Travel and Lodging: Travel and lodging support provided.
