Position Overview

• Locum tenens CRNA coverage for an inpatient setting
• Medical direction model is referenced
• Orientation is required the day prior to the first scheduled shift
• Occasional moderate procedural sedation support in the emergency department is referenced
• EMR: Epic (preferred)

Clinical Scope

• Epidural placement required
• Labor epidurals and spinals in obese patients are required
• Comfort with pediatric patients is required
• Procedures include general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, podiatry

Required Qualifications

• Board certified CRNA
• BLS
• ACLS
• Active North Carolina license

Credentialing

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 0 to 30 days
