Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process
• Schedule appointments and answer patient questions via phone and in person
• Take patient vitals and assist with clinical procedures such as drawing blood and administering vaccines
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Support clinical staff with various duties to ensure smooth daily operations
• Build collaborative relationships with the healthcare team to facilitate quality patient care

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship
• Strong proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and taking vitals
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members
• Attention to detail in documentation and clinical tasks
• Strong computer skills to operate medical software and manage patient records

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Experience working with pediatric patients aged 2 and above
• Bilingual skills are preferred to better serve diverse patient populations
• Ability to work flexible hours around scheduled shifts
