Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, and patient assessments
- Administering medications and injections as directed by the supervising healthcare provider
- Managing patient scheduling, updating electronic health records, and documenting clinical notes accurately
- Providing excellent patient communication, education, and support throughout their visit
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, privacy regulations, and clinical policies
- Supporting clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery
Required Skills:
- Certified or registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) with verifiable credentials
- Previous experience working in a clinical setting, preferably within outpatient or primary care environments
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare best practices
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of specialized medical areas such as family medicine, pediatrics, or urgent care
- Bilingual abilities (fluency in English and Spanish or other languages) to support diverse patient populations
- Experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, and clinical troubleshooting

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical training
- 1+ years of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Certification and licensure appropriate for the state of practice

- This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule during regular business hours
