Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming experience
• Assist with scheduling appointments and answering telephones promptly
• Take patient vital signs accurately
• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
• Administer vaccines and provide clinical support to the healthcare team
• Maintain effective communication with patients and staff to support seamless clinic flow
• Support front and back office functions as needed to enhance patient care delivery

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externships
• Strong computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform phlebotomy/venipuncture
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
• Attention to detail in clinical procedures and documentation

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred
• Occupational health experience strongly preferred
• Experience administering vaccinations is a plus
• Ability to work an on-site schedule with specific lunch break times, including Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
• Flexibility to work during scheduled dates, including July 2026
• High school diploma or equivalent required
