Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs measurements such as hearing screening, height, weight, and pulse oximetry
• Obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG and prepare patients for exam by recording medical history, medications, and allergies
• Assist with office duties including insurance verification and scheduling appointments
• Conduct telephone triage to support patient needs and clinic operations
• Review lab test results and ensure accurate chart documentation using EPIC electronic health records

Required Skills

• Experience working as a Medical Assistant in an adult outpatient clinic setting for at least one year
• Proficiency in performing vital signs, recording patient history, and preparing patients for exams
• Experience with procedure scheduling and EPIC charting systems
• Knowledge of office procedures such as insurance verification and appointment scheduling
• Current BLS certification and WA Medical Assistant-Licensure (MA-C level) is required

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of one year of outpatient clinical experience; outpatient cardiology experience is a plus if procedure scheduling experience is not available
• First-time candidates accepted with proper licensure and certification
• Availability to work standard daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Reliable transportation and residence within 50 miles of the clinic location in the Seattle, WA area
• Willingness to commit to a temp-to-perm position with the potential for permanent employment
