Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming environment for individuals aged 3 and older
• Schedule appointments and answer phone calls to assist patients and staff efficiently
• Take vital signs and draw blood through phlebotomy or venipuncture
• Administer vaccines and provide clinical support as needed
• Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) accurately
• Assist with onsite medication dispensing and support homeMed participation
• Build and maintain positive relationships with staff and patients

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (including externship)
• Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Strong computer skills

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including varying start and end times
• Experience working with pediatric patients aged 3 and older
• Reliable transportation to the designated clinical location in the region
• Commitment to health education and outreach initiatives
