Clinical – Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

– Greet and room patients, assisting with their needs throughout their visit – Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage patient communication – Take patient vitals and assist with drawing blood and venipuncture procedures – Administer vaccines as needed and provide clinical support where required – Maintain collaborative relationships with clinic staff, including MDs, NPs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals – Support a variety of clinical services including DOT drug testing, pre-employment physicals, and occupational health services

Required Skills

– Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship – Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) – Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills with patients – Proficiency in computer skills necessary for clinical support tasks

Additional Skills & Requirements

– Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred – Experience working in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting is a plus – Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable – Ability to work flexible days, including scheduled shifts for August 12-21, 2026 – Commitment to working in an environment that emphasizes health education and outreach
