Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures in both front and back office areas
• Room and prepare patients for their appointments
• Schedule patient appointments and answer incoming phone calls
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Draw blood and perform venipuncture as needed
• Administer vaccines in accordance with protocols
• Provide additional clinical support as required to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team to promote effective service delivery

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship work
• Strong proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for engaging with patients and team members
• Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant healthcare software

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred
• Experience working with patients age 2 and older
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including specific dates and times as scheduled in August 2026
• Prior experience in a primary care or outpatient setting is a plus
