Schedule – Night shift 6:45pm – 7:15am – days of week will vary. (No set schedule – Minimum 36 hours) – Full time hours

Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and document responses to medication therapy diligently.
- Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, ensuring a high standard of comfort and safety.
- Maintain meticulous medication administration records and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide patient education on medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless, quality care delivery during night shifts.
Required Skills:
- Current Certified Medication Aide license in good standing.
- Insulin certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in medication delivery.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working as a CMA in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
- Additional certifications in wound care or patient safety are advantageous.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare-related training is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CMA or clinical medical assistant preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Schedule: Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with days of the week varying.
- Full-time hours, offering stability and consistent scheduling.
- Must hold valid certification with current licensure and insulin certification.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing for extended periods and assisting patients as needed.
