IRVING, TX, January 17, 2018 – Thanks to the generosity of its employees, All Medical Personnel presented the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with a check for $54,143.18. St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-
threatening diseases.
“St. Jude is a renowned charity that we are proud to support,” said Neil Bernstein, President and CEO of All Medical Personnel. “Once again, our employees made an extraordinary donation to a worthy cause.”
Bernstein presented the check to Amy Weidner, Senior Development Director of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Dallas, Texas, in a ceremony at All Medical Personnel’s annual company meeting.
Weidner spoke to an All Medical Personnel employee audience about the importance of donations from the community and how it goes towards finding cures and saving children.
Several years ago, All Medical Personnel’s employees wanted to recognize a team member who was fighting cancer and began raising funds on their behalf to donate to the American Cancer Society. Since then, the effort has grown into a full blown annual donation program with a company match. Employees participate through a “jeans program,” making monthly donations to wear jeans to the office any day of the week. A different charitable organization is supported every 6 to 12 months.
Since the inception of the jeans program, All Medical Personnel’s employees have chosen to donate to the American Cancer Society, The Wounded Warrior Project, The Alzheimer’s Association, and The Dallas Foundation contributing more than $120,000 since 2015.
