Anesthesiologist

Location: AK

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM plus assigned after-hours call on weekdays and weekends

Position Overview

• Provide anesthesia coverage for general OR cases in an inpatient hospital setting
• Support OB and ED anesthesia coverage as needed
• Work independently in a solo coverage model

Clinical Scope Highlights

• General OR cases
• OB department support
• ED support
• Occasional A-line and central line procedures

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO
• Active Alaska medical license in hand at time of presentation
• BLS, PALS (and other required certifications as documented)
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Documented clinical activity within the last 24 months (case logs required)

• Patient population: all ages
• Average daily patient contacts: variable (approximately 5–15)
• Rounding/Admissions: none
