Physician Assistant – Hospitalist
Location: VA
Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Position Overview
Provide inpatient hospital medicine advanced practice coverage in a regional referral facility / Level II trauma center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient hospital medicine coverage on a day schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- Work within an established hospital medicine coverage model alongside physicians
- Document care using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant
- Active Virginia PA license
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of hospital medicine experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Practice Details
- Setting: inpatient
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma designation: Level II
