Position Overview
Emergency medicine coverage in a community emergency department. Providers should be comfortable practicing independently, managing acute and emergent conditions, and working within a shift-based coverage model.
Clinical Scope
- Emergency department evaluation and management
- Collaboration with APP coverage
- Emergency procedures consistent with site capability
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board certification or board eligibility preferred (Emergency Medicine preferred)
- Active DEA registered to Texas address if required for the role
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS may be required per site and board status
- Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify
