Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival, answer questions, and provide a welcoming environment with care and compassion
- Assist with patient check-in procedures using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area
- Support phlebotomy team during downtimes by assisting with specimen collection and processing once trained
- Ensure patient confidentiality and accurate documentation of all interactions and procedures
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the supervision of the area manager
- Promote a safe, professional, and inviting environment for patients and staff
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health aide, etc.)
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patients with care and compassion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Additional Skills & Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite within a 20-25 minute commute
- Availability to work scheduled shifts and demonstrate punctuality; excessive tardiness or absenteeism will not be tolerated
- Willingness to learn and perform phlebotomy duties once trained, including specimen collection and processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism at all times
- Prior phlebotomy experience is not required; training will be provided for interested candidates
