Lab – Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm specimen labeling accuracy
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records of collection activities
  • Create a professional, trustworthy environment for patients, fostering confidence and comfort
  • Provide coverage at multiple locations, balancing schedules to meet staffing needs
  • Adhere to safety protocols, confidentiality policies, and company standards for everyday excellence

Required Skills

  • Proven phlebotomy skills with 1-3 years of experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on patient care
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Keyboard and data entry proficiency

Additional Skills & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from various sites; being dropped off or using rideshare services is not considered reliable
  • Availability to be on time, maintain punctuality, and stay for entire shifts; excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination
  • Floaters must be flexible to cover multiple locations on short notice
