Overview

Responsibilities
- Draw quality blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing with precision and care

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimen collections and processing
- Perform specimen collection and processing duties confidently, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Demonstrate professionalism and promote a positive image to patients and staff
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment at all times
Required Skills
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
- Keyboard and data entry proficiency
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Additional Skills & Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience required; over 1 year preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
- Reliable transportation to the worksite; candidates must reside within 20-25 minutes of the job site
- Current candidates must indicate home city/commute time on their resume
- Candidates currently students should confirm their school schedule does not conflict with work shifts
- Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to completing entire shifts without excessive tardiness or absences
