Hospitalist Physician
Location: California
Schedule: Multiple day, swing, and night shift options including 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Position Overview
Provide hospital medicine coverage across multiple acute care sites within the same regional health system. This is a time sensitive go live need with the team targeting onboarding completion by September 1, 2026 for clean and complete files.
Clinical Scope
- Adult hospitalist coverage
- Closed ICU model
- Admissions and workflow include a dedicated admitting team with time to admission expectations
- No procedures are required
- Vent management experience is required and recent logs are required within the last 24 months
- EMR: Epic
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine background
- Board certified or board eligible
- Active California medical license
- ACLS
- DEA
- Clean and complete credentialing file and high responsiveness throughout onboarding
Credentialing
- Typical credentialing timeframe is 60 to 90 days, with potential to extend up to 120 days depending on volume
