Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records of all specimens and patient interactions.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all duties.
- Perform duties independently while adhering to established practices and internal standards.
- Assist with other clinical or administrative tasks as needed based on staffing requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong phlebotomy skills with experience collecting samples from pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry to maintain accurate records.
Additional Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, with rotational Saturdays, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
