Lab – Phlebotomist

  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection and processing.
  • Ensure a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.

  • Assist in maintaining a positive image of the facility through professional conduct.

Required Skills

  • Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collection techniques.
  • Ability to perform accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust with patients.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Comfort with data entry and keyboarding tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred, especially in California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime based on staffing needs.
  • Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival within a 20-25 minute commute window.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environments is a plus.
  • Must be available to work scheduled shifts and demonstrate punctuality and dependability.
