Responsibilities
- Draw blood samples from patients across different age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures and safety protocols.
- Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the presence of the patient.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient specimens and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear explanations and fostering a trusted environment.
- Ensure a safe and professional environment at all times, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Perform duties independently or as assigned in various settings, including patient service centers or clinical offices.
- Support process excellence and confidentiality while demonstrating leadership behaviors in daily tasks.

- Strong phlebotomy skills with experience in pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred; certification in California, Nevada, and Washington is required.
- 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws, is required.
- Experience working in a patient service center environment is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record are required if travel is involved.
- Keyboard/data entry experience is a plus.
