Position Overview

• Emergency Medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting
• Annual ED volume: about 18,250
• Emergency department beds: 11
• EMR: Cerner

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Active Texas medical license
• DEA with Texas address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5
• Board certification accepted: ABEM, AOBEM, or ABMS board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
• Recent clinical activity within the past 2 years
• Case logs for the past 2 years

Certifications

• For Family Medicine and Internal Medicine: ACLS, ATLS, PALS

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 61 to 90 days
• Immunization and TB documentation required
