Travel Therapist FAQs

Questions about travel therapy with All Medical Personnel? Find answers below.

We currently work with facilities and travelers across the country in almost all 50 states. These facilities include hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health, schools, outpatient clinics, etc. Once we have an idea of your interested and needs (location, start date, setting preference, experience, etc), then we can update you on opportunities that fit your needs as they come out. We get needs in on a daily basis.

Yes you can go to jobs.allmedical.com, however the travel jobs can often fill quickly with a majority of positions filling within 24-72 hours. It is not uncommon for a position to be listed and filled within hours the same day. Therefore all jobs are not posted and updated immediately, and your best source of job updates will come from your recruiter as they get access to positions immediately.

We typically work with the HR manager or director, and often times we only receive the broad details about a position (location, setting, pay package, start date, length of assignment). If you are  interested in getting more specific details on a opportunity, then we recommend you speak with the rehab manager/director over the phone in order to get more specifics about the position and see if it is a fit for you.

You are paid every Friday via direct deposit.

Your first paycheck will be paid to you the following Friday that you begin working. For example, if you start work on a Monday, your first paycheck will be a week from that Friday, then you would be paid each Friday after for the previous weeks work.

You can view your check stubs by logging into https://employdrive.myisolved.com/cloudservice/login. When you receive your first payment with All Medical Personnel, an email from Employdrive (ISolved) will get sent to the email we have on file for you.

You qualify for one reward day after 500 hours worked. This typically equates to one 13 week assignment worked. Reward days are 8 hours of your regular hourly pay and do not include stipends or per diems. Reward days also never expire, meaning if you stop working with Ethika Group and come back, you will still have those reward days you have earned to use. To use a reward day you must give two weeks notice to your recruiter and this day also has to be approved off by the facility. You earn career Reward Days every 2000 hours. Therefore, if you work 4 full assignments in a year it is likely you’ve earned 5 Reward Days.

Holidays include the following: Labor Day; Memorial Day; 4th of July; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; New Years Day. Should you be scheduled to work on a holiday you have the option to be paid at the holiday pay rate per approval by the facility. If you are scheduled this day off it will be unpaid unless you opt to use an eligible reward day. During a holiday work week, it is All Medical Personnel’s expectation that the facility provide you with ways to make up your hours that week to achieve your typically scheduled work week or provide the guaranteed hours per assignment confirmation letter unless you request off then the facility is not responsible to guarantee hours that week if the you request off or call in absent (please note not every facility or assignment will not have guaranteed hours). Any guarantee will be included in your confirmation letter.

Logging hours may vary depending on the facility, typically you will fill out an All Medical Personnel timesheet that will be emailed to you along with your first day instructions.  Some facilities will have you utilize their system to log hours such as (Casamba, Rehab Optima, Kronos, etc).  In that case you can send in a printout of the timesheet each week instead of using AMP’s timesheet that way you are not duplicating your efforts.  Timesheet instructions will be included on your first day instructions emailed to you once your credentials are cleared by the facility.

Most travelers will take the housing stipend and choose to find their own housing, since they typically be able make more money that way. AMP will still help locate and work with you to find suitable housing, and if there is a situation that there are some up front cost such as first months rent, deposits, etc, AMP can cover those cost and deduct them from your check each week, so you are still receiving the full housing stipend. For example if your housing option requires a $1000 deposit AMP could cover the cost of the deposit, and just deduct $250 each week from your check for 4 weeks.

We advise to always attempt to contact your recruiter initially. If you are unable to reach them, contact numbers for the marketer of the facility, Vice President of Recruiting, and support services on call line, are provided on the First Day Instructions.

What is required can vary depending on whether the facility has additional requirements, and can vary from each client, but the most common credentials are below. Our credentialing team will work with you to help locate and schedule missing credentials.

• ID from List A, B, or C on I9 (typically driver’s license & social security card, or US Passport)
• TB Skin Test within last 12 months or Chest Xray or Qaunteriferon Blood Test

The expenses need to be accounted for and listed on your Assignment Confirmation Letter. You will need to save and submit to AMP any receipts in order to be reimbursed the amount agreed upon.

If you know of a course you want to take, contact your recruiter about help with reimbursement. Any reimbursement given is on a case by case basis. AMP provides $50 per 13 week assignment or $200 annually for CEU’s. Contact your recruiter for any reimbursement above this.

We have health, dental, & Rx plans. Your benefits become effective the first day of the month after the first day worked on your assignment, and end the last day of the month. We will continue to cover your benefits as long as you have accepted another assignment with us, and there is not more than 2 weeks between the assignment.  If you have not confirmed the assignment or take more than 2 weeks off, then we will resume to cover your benefits once you return to work with us. If your benefits did stop they would resume the first day of the month following your start date.  Remember you do get covered up to the end of the month.  So if your assignment ended on the 5th of the month then you would continue to have coverage for the rest of that month on us. Contact your recruiter if you have any further questions regarding your benefit coverage.

Temporary ID cards will be emailed to you by the third of the month. Your permanent ID cards will come through USPS mail to AMP and will then be mailed to your preferred mailing address. Please allow 7 to 10 days for this mailing process.

You are eligible to start contributing pre-tax dollars starting your first paycheck.

You will receive an email the first week of the month you become eligible with the enrollment forms attached. You will need to complete these forms and send them back to Ethika Group’s Human Resource department. If you do not return the enrollment forms.
