Position: Maintenance Tech
Job Description:
Perform general and routine maintenance and repair of the facility and grounds in accordance with established guidelines. These repairs may include basic plumbing, basic electrical and painting of interior and exterior spaces.
Utilize materials, supplies and equipment in a cost effective manner.
Maintain quality, safety and performance of the facility.
Maintain ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook).
Communicate effectively and cooperatively in the workplace.
Actively contribute to the achievement of Quality Improvement and Lean Process Improvement activities.
Complete all mandatory learning requirements in a timely manner.
Attend and actively participate in all department, team and/or committee meetings.
Comply with all Skagit Regional Health, department and location specific policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
A minimum of 1 year experience
Able to work effectively in a team environment;
Must be able to lift up to seventy (70) pounds;
Ability to operate materials handling equipment as needed (fork lift, pallet jack, etc.)
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills and/or training
No experience needed must have prior work experience and the ability to follow written instructions
