What types of schedules do you offer?
Our schedules range from per diem half-shifts all the way to permanent placement, as well as everything in between.
Will I receive reimbursement for travel?
Yes we almost always compensate for travel, but it does depend on the specific assignment.
Do you help with licensing?
Yes. If we offer an assignment where you do not currently have a license, your Recruiting Consultant will coordinate with our in-house Compliance department in helping you to obtain it.
Do you help with continuing education?
We can help you with finding continuing education opportunities.
Do you offer health benefits?
We do not offer health benefits as our providers are considered 1099 contractors.
How will I be paid?
You will be paid weekly via direct deposit or live check.
What happens when my assignment ends?
Even when your assignment ends, your relationship with us certainly does not. Your recruiting consultant will be checking in with you frequently, getting to know you and searching for other possible opportunities that you may be interested in.
What types of facilities do you place providers in?
We place providers in a variety of facilities and settings, including but not limited to: hospitals, large healthcare systems, urgent care, outpatient or inpatient, corporate health and wellness clinics, veteran evaluations and in-home assessments.
What should I expect while on assignment?
While no two assignments are exactly the same, we will prepare you exactly for any assignment you choose to take. Further, your recruiting consultant will be there with you every step of the way, and is available 24/7 should you have any questions.
What type of orientation is given?
Each client has their in-house procedures regarding orientation. Prior to an assignment, your recruiting consultant will brief you on the specifics of the training and orientation you will receive.
How many states do you cover?
All Medical Personnel staffs nationwide in all 50 states.
What type of housing is provided?
We have an entire team devoted to travel and lodging, and have developed excellent relationships with hotel chains nationwide. Our team will work with you to decide together on the best housing option for your assignment.
Can I travel with my pets?
Yes! We will work with you to find acceptable accommodations for you and your pets. We even offer Pet Insurance.
How much experience do I need?
We offer opportunities for all experience levels.
What does it take to be successful as a locum tenens?
The biggest advantage successful Locum Tenens providers have is adaptability. They work to assimilate themselves into new living and work environments and stay flexible in meeting the unique demands of each work location. A good attitude is also very important.
