All Medical Personnel sponsors second annual #fightsummerhunger food drive

HOLLYWOOD, FL — All Medical Personnel, a national leader in healthcare staffing for more than 25 years, today announced the conclusion of #fightsummerhunger, its second annual food drive. Recognizing the year-round importance helping the hungry, the All Medical team collected nearly 8,000 non-perishable food items that will donated to needy families in three Florida and Texas communities.

“We want to raise awareness for those unable to afford a basic necessity of life,” said Melissa Matherly, who organized All Medical Personnel’s #fightsummerhunger food drive. “While giving a can of food may seem like a small gesture, it can change the life of a child or adult, and make a difference in the community.”

All Medical Personnel’s corporate team members from around the country provided support to three community food banks:

Feeding South Florida, which is one of several member food banks of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief charity.

North Texas Food Bank, the largest North Texas charity and a member of the hunger relief organization.

“There will be so many grateful and happy families this summer, thanks to our amazing team,” said Karen Freedman, who works in All Medical Personnel’s Dallas office. “My hope is this summer will be a little less stressful for these needy families.”

Matherly added that #fightsummerhunger surpassed last year’s food drive by a significant margin, thanks to the generosity of All Medical Personnel’s team. “We came together without hesitation in such a short amount of time, and did so much for so many families,” she said. “Our hope is to create a ripple effect that will extend to other organizations across the country, multiplying the impact of our campaign.”

All Medical Personnel, a national leader in healthcare staffing since 1990, focuses on recruiting and staffing a wide range of medical professionals, including clinical, laboratory, administrative, physicians, and executives.  For more information, visit
